Aquatic Center kiosk is a community-wide benefit

The Woodburn Aquatic Center and Recreation Services recently installed a self-serve kiosk at the front desk counter of the Aquatic Center.

The kiosk enables customers to apply for recreation and aquatic programs, as well as apply for jobs within the City. When it is not in use, the kiosk screen displays recreation and aquatic program information. Customers have commented on the new addition and several have used it to become familiar with the online registration system.

There are many goals of the kiosk, including increasing access and availability to the City application system, helping customers become acquainted with registering online so they are comfortable registering in their own home or on their phones and lastly, to further promote programs leading to increased registrations. By reallocating existing resources, the recreation and aquatic programs did not incur any additional costs associated with the kiosk.

This is just another way we at the City are trying to connect to our ever-changing community. We are trying to provide effective services at as little cost to the taxpayers as possible. When you get a chance, head over to the Aquatic Center and check out this new service!
