How to Get a Permit in Woodburn

The Building Division is gearing up to go digital with plan review... In the meantime, here is how you can apply for a permit in the City of Woodburn.

  1. Apply for a building permit through Oregon E-Permitting.  Not sure how to use E-Permitting? Check out our helpful tips and "how to's" for using the site

  2. Once you've applied online, get ready to submit the required documents in hard copy to the Building Division either via mail or drop off in person.  Not sure what to submit or how many copies? Check out our plan submittal reference sheet to help you provide the appropriate number of plans and submittal documents.  Be sure to include a submittal form with your documents and include the required information.

  3. Once an application has been received by the department, fees will be invoiced for plan review.  Plan review fees can be paid online through e-permitting, or in person at the finance department.  If paying by a check, checks should be made out to City of Woodburn. Once plan review fees are paid, your application will be accepted and ready for plan review by a plans examiner.
