Mayor Frank Lonergan
Mayor Frank Lonergan, officially sworn in as Woodburn’s 43rd Mayor on Monday, December 12, 2022, has spent the better part of 40 years serving the Woodburn community as a member of the Park Board, Planning Commission, Urban Renewal Board, Budget Committee, and former City Council President.
As Council President, he was part of notable accomplishments including:
- Increasing Woodburn’s Urban Growth boundaries
- Expanding the I-5 Interchange and Highway 214
- Establishment of the Public Art Program
- Implementing sustainable practices to help ensure the City’s financial stability
His community service accolades include:
- Past President for the Woodburn Downtown Association, Woodburn Youth Basketball Association, and Clackamas County Refuse and Recycling Association.
- Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop #691
- Woodburn Junior First Citizen (1987) and Woodburn Senior First Citizen (2018)
