Educator Cards
Educators, who are currently employed at a school or educational facility that operates in Woodburn, Gervais, St. Paul, or North Marion District are eligible for these cards. Click here for more information.
How to Apply
Apply for a library card at the circulation desk. Patrons must show valid, government-issued photo identification, such as a driver license, a passport, or a consular identification card.
Patrons must also prove their current physical address, as the physical address determines the level of service provided. If the patron's government issued photo identification provides the current physical address, that is sufficient. Otherwise, patrons must provide proof of their address in the form of a utility bill, lease, bank statement, or credit card statement.
Sign up for a temporary CCRLS library card online. Use the card right away to request one library item and access digital content. Verify your account with photo identification and proof of address on your next library visit.
Placing Holds
Patrons may use their library cards to place holds online by using the library catalog. Or, patrons may place holds over the phone by calling 503-982-5252 during library hours.
Renewing
Items renew automatically when possible. If an item has been requested by another user, or it has been renewed a maximum number of times, that item must be returned. Patrons who select email notification will receive advance notice of renewals or due dates of items to be returned. The CCRLS mobile app is currently not available. Patrons can use the online library catalog to manage their account.
Library Fines
The library does not charge overdue fines. [Some exceptions apply for items such as culture passes.] Patrons will be charged the list price for lost books and materials, and appropriate fees will be charged for damaged items.
