Planning Division Application Packets
Follow application packet instructions.
Complete the application form including landowner authorization fields. The following authorization directions apply to all but pre-application conference requests. If a landowner signature on a form is infeasible, otherwise provide landowner authorization as counseled by the City Attorney: "When applying on behalf of a corporation, the Manager certifies that Manager has full power and authority (corporate or otherwise) to enter into this Agreement and to consummate the transactions contemplated by it. This Agreement has been duly authorized by all necessary action on the part of Manager and no other corporate or other action on the part of Manager is necessary to authorize the execution and delivery of this Agreement. The individual executing this Agreement for Manager has full authority to do so and thereby to bind Manager to its terms."
Staff accepts application submittals either in person or by mail. If applying in person, please arrive no later than 4:40 p.m. Pacific time.
Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 227.178 compels local governments to make land use decisions in a timely manner. Upon application, staff has 30 days to determine if the application is complete or incomplete before fully reviewing it. Upon a determination of completeness, staff has up to 120 days to make a final decision. Minor administrative permit applications such as for fences, signs, and temporary outdoor marketing/special events take much less time.
