Bungalow Theatre

Adjacent to the Woodburn Museum lies the Bungalow Theatre a beloved fixture of Woodburn since 1911. This community theater includes historic cinema-related objects and old-time movie memorabilia. It is also home to monthly art galleries that showcase local artists and celebrate the diversity of Woodburn. With a small performance stage for musicians or theater groups, and a projector to run films or slideshows, the Bungalow Theatre is ready to grow and become a community gathering space.
Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming events and performances as programming in the theatre continues to expand!
Upcoming Art Exhibit
November 14th - December 6th
Zoey Benavidez is bringing "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues" to the Bungalow Theatre for a showing of art that comes from a personal place — about the process of understanding who she has been and who she is becoming.
This work depicts versions of herself that wanted to be strong and untouchable, explores symbols of destruction, and touches on struggles with depression and how that affects the people around us. This work is about honesty, understanding how pain can shape you, and realizing that from what’s been burned away, something new can grow.
The Bungalow Theatre is open via the Woodburn Museum entrance Thursday-Saturday from 1:00-4:00pm.
