NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING 4/29/23

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Woodburn and the Woodburn Urban Renewal Agency, Marion County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 will be held in the Woodburn City Hall Council Chambers, 270 Montgomery Street, Woodburn, Oregon. The meeting will take place on the 29th day of April 2023, at 9:00 a.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the City of Woodburn and Woodburn Urban Renewal Area proposed budgets (combined in one document) and comments from the public on said budgets. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may comment on the budget. The following options are available for participation:
• In person at City Hall during the public comment portion of the meeting.

• Written comments may be submitted to the City Recorder (270 Montgomery Street, Woodburn, OR 97071) and must be received by Friday, April 28, 2023 at 4:00 pm.

• Digital comments (email) may be submitted to heather.pierson@ci.woodburn.or.us by Friday, April 28, 2023 at 5:00 pm.

The budget committee will read, review, and consider all public comment.

The meeting may also include a public hearing to discuss possible uses of state revenue sharing funds.
