Seed Library

Welcome to the Woodburn Seed Library Page

Check out seeds to grow and plant at home.

The Seed Library's mission is to create a system for the Woodburn community to lend and share seeds. The Seed Library provides members of our community equitable access to a variety of free seeds, helps residents learn more about growing different types of plants, and encourages a culture of sharing.

  • Our seed library is open to all visitors; you don't need a library card to borrow seeds.
  • Please consider cultivating and harvesting seeds to donate back to the seed library. This will help us ensure that we have seeds available each year.
  • We welcome non-GMO seed donations from the community. These seeds can home harvested or commercially packaged, preferably no more than three years old.

Thank you for participating in our seed library. Saving seeds is a free, easy, and fun activity that leads to a sustainable future for your community and your garden.
