The City of Woodburn recognizes that some residents require financial assistance in order to participate in certain recreational activities. Huge thank you to the Woodburn Kiwanis Club for providing scholarship funds so that EVERYBODY PLAYS!

How do I apply?
Download an application or pick one up at the Aquatics Center or Woodburn City Hall
Where do I turn my application in?
Turn your application in at the Aquatics Center or at Woodburn City Hall
When should I apply?
Scholarship applications should be submitted before registering for the activity that you are requesting the scholarship for
What do I need to apply?
Applications must be turned in with a copy of proof of income (form 1040, current paystub, W-2, 1040 tax return, unemployment, TANF, etc.)
how do i know if I got approved?
Recreation/Aquatics staff will contact you once your application has been processed informing you of your scholarship status
Please allow for one week to process your application
Can anyone apply?
Applicants must have a Woodburn address to be eligible for a scholarship
All members listed in the household are eligible to receive a scholarship
One scholarship application is required per household
How long is the scholarship good for?
Scholarships will expire annually on April 30th and must be renewed with current documentation for continued approval
