A business registration is required for each home occupation. Please view the Finance Department Business Registration Requirements/Information webpage and fill out the registration form. There is an annual fee for this registration. Please also submit a Certification of Conformance with Home Occupation Standards Form, available below, to certify that your home occupation will comply with applicable zoning regulations.
Regulations for home occupations generally require the home to maintain its primary function as a residence and not be disruptive to the neighborhood. Vehicle repair, retail sales (except where customers do not visit the site), and marijuana dispensaries are prohibited as home occupations. The full list of regulations are outlined in Section 2.07.10 of the Woodburn Development Ordinance (WDO).
