Beginning October 1, citations will be issued for speeding violations caught by the speed enforcement cameras for north and south bound lanes of Pacific Hwy at Mt. Hood Ave. 

Here are some important facts regarding Oregon Revised Statutes on photo enforcement:

  • In order for a law enforcement agency to issue a citation for speed, the speeder must be traveling at least 11 MPH over the posted speed limit.
  • If the speeder is traveling between 11-20 MPH over the speed limit and runs a right light during the same event, the law enforcement agency may only issue one citation.
  • If the speeder is traveling 21 MPH or more over the speed limit and runs the red light, the law enforcement agency may issue both citations for the same event.
