Support Services Sergeant Shawn Hershberger handles a variety of functions within the Police Department to include management of both the Records and Evidence units. Additionally, this role serves as the Quartermaster and LEDS Representative for the department. Sgt. Hershberger assumed the role with the Woodburn Police Department on October 29, 2023.

Shawn has been a police officer since 2006, serving the citizens of Woodburn for his entire career.  During his tenure with the department, Shawn was promoted to Sergeant in 2017 and has served as a Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant and was a member of the police department's Tactical Services Unit for eight years.
